How to send documents to US universities

Gather all the documents which are specified in this page.

  • Place only Bachelors degree transcripts into university provided envelope and that envelope should contain stamp of the university otherwise some colleges will not accept.
  • Place all the Letter of recommendations in second envelope and  it should have a college seal on the envelope.
  • Place all the other documents into third envelope.
  • Now put all the envelopes into Single big envelope.
  • Write the from and To address clearly and specify the phone number of the university.
  • Finally write on the envelope to which semester you are applying.

Common Application Documents required for Applying Masters in USA

In Order apply MS in US, you need to have

1. 2-3 Letter of Recommendations either from your college or from your Employer.
2. Statement of Purpose- Describing Your Missions and Goals.
3. Transcripts from respective university.(Most of the colleges ask for registrar stamp of university or college stamps).
4. Bank Statement. (Describing Financial ability of Student to afford for 1 year expenses in USA.Each college has their own limit of finance.)
5. Any Extra Curricular activities will be added advantage(Paper presentations,Research Papers).
6. Resume and Employment Papers if any.
7. 10th and 12th standard memos.
8. Report GRE and IELTS or TOEFL score cards if available and report it online from www.ets.org and you can report your IELTS from IELTS center.(GRE-Reporting-25$ and IELTS-Reporting-1200rs around)
9. Xerox Copy of Passport Passport .
10. Some colleges require your Passport photos.
